Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     That’s great, I do love that one. The reveal commercial of the last scout and the new one as the kid grows up hit very close to home. My youngest is also a redhead and she will most likely learn to drive in it… was like wow 😮 and the sentimental. I’ve been listening to Creedence all week lol 😆

    Charging at the house here is like .15 cents a kw regardless of time of day since our provider doesn’t offer off peak discount. Still loads cheaper than .38 cents at a super charger.

    Same with Ohio. When you provide drivers license to an out of state dealer they automatically include your local taxes based on zip code in the sale. I just bought my Tesla in Kentucky and paid Ohio taxes.

    Do You Want Your Scout To Have A Hands-Free Driving System?

    Yes I would like the capability because the technology exists, at the very least adaptive cruise control and lane centering as standard. Full self drive could be a paid option but either system should always allow for manual control with safety features like emergency braking, etc

    I love the fabric color and grain trim of the interior of the terra, and the body of the traveler. But I understand if they are separate for design. Perhaps a lighter interior option. I definitely plan to get the bench seat in the traveler for sure.
