Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     Yes I agree, and actually having seen people from all walks of life at EV chargers, I think it’s a great selling point for multiple price markets to offer EV charging. Now since people live there and you don’t want them to camp at them, some sort of login required as a renter sort of like a key...

    Guess would also define early. First 6 hours or first 6 months reservation holders? Depends on the first year production capabilities and how many convert from reservations to actual orders. 2-3 years out anything can happen.

    Agreed. Even if paint isn’t an option, a factory wrap possibly could be. Lots of interest in flat or matte colors. Will either be Tahitian red or flat black as my top 2 wishes at the moment.

    In everything mentioned so far SM has only discussed the smaller battery for harvesters and the 350 range battery for BEV. Being such a large EV, and with their business model, it wouldn’t make sense to offer a 1 motor or reduced battery Scout for 60k.

    What do you all do? Curious about Scout buyers occupations, or former occupations.

    Grew up all around the US and Europe. Currently a Compliance Officer in the financial sector, so basically making sure regulations are being followed, auditing processes, and helping to mitigate and investigate financial crime.
