Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Okay I continue to think about color a lot. It’s very important to me. I know I want PBY, but I have to be realistic that it may not happen.

@LastDayScout posted a truck the other day. White with a yellow stripe. I threw it into Gemini and made the roof and wheels black and I kinda like it.

Then today I saw this post from a truck that’s going to be at Harvester in the Holler.

I’m actually really liking it. If I can’t get all yellow then white with a yellow a Rallye stripe is definitely an option.

What about this for an idea. SM partners with STEK or other high qualify PPF companies that also make colored PPF. They could have a “vintage Scout collection” available through the accessories shop and you could get anything from a Rallye stripe to a full wrap in any of the vintage colors that aren’t offered as a paint color.

What do you all think?

Great idea!

Okay guys can someone get this to work because I have been unsuccessful so far.

I’m trying to take this yellow Rallye stripe.

And put it on Tahitian Red and this is what it keeps doing. Help!

Use a photo from launch that doesn’t already have the strip on it that your husband shot. Without a stripe to start it may work better for you

Found this beauty on FB this morning while waiting on my eye doctor toe-because sitting in an exam room for 20 minutes gets boring and FB at least kept me from being highly annoyed
Now THAT is a nice orange/copper color. Less red than the Tahitian. Nice depth in the sun with that flake.

My favorite orange is still the old Hot Lava on the Scion FR-S. Great orange with a lot of yellow flake, but also enough red flake that it had incredible depth and changed colors some in the sun and at night under various lighting. Overall, pretty close to the one in your picture.

Because you all like pictures (courtesy Spartan65, FT86Club):

That would be a good look for the scouts. Either one of those colors posted today would look good. The white roof on that Scout helps tone down the orange but a copper orange color needs to be an upcoming concept color
