When people ask on Instagram if they will come with CarPlay whoever is answering for SM on Instagram says yes.

All I've heard repeatedly was that they would include it. But, the language has clearly changed for some reason.

I severely hope that this is not a result of their increased collaboration with Rivian (Lack of carplay support, and their war on physical buttons, and electric door handles are the reasons I'm avoiding Rivian).

RJ has given a fairly legit reason why they don’t include CarPlay but Scout has shown its intent in demo UX, but only time will tell, I only use CarPlay for work, since I use Apple Maps instead of clogging up my address history on my preferred map apps, but I could live without CarPlay personally

That’s the first I’ve heard of that. It’s always been a quick answered yes regarding CarPlay.

And anyone who asks that question on Instagram SM answers yes. I’m not worried. Jamie posted the other day they are working on a revamp of the website. It could just be they are want for then new website design before they update things.

It’s probably still to early to be confirming CarPlay, since Scout is still refining the UX, the language changes could be as simple as an attempt at under-promising just in case CarPlay isn’t functioning in the UX or has to be cut because it interferes with something else. However everything up to this point has shown CarPlay is intended to be available in scout
