CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Hello peeps I’m starting this thread in anticipation of tomorrow! Im thinking positively that the weather will hold. The Traveler will be in front of the Marriott. I’m so excited to see Pacific Mist up close and in person. My husband has his camera batteries charged up and we both were able to take the day off work.

I’ll take you along on our journey like I did for Nats.

So we are 128 miles from
Chicago. The weather can be very different up there because they get the lake effect and we don’t get that here in Central Illinois. We are forecast to have a tiny bit of rain at about 1 in the morning and a high of 40.

Chicago on the other hand.

The plan is to leave at 8 am, which really means 8:30. 😹

It’s Scoutmas Eve again and I’m so excited! Come on weather gods, be kind!!

I’m hoping for the album of photos again like Nats. But I checked on my specialist weather program that is supplied via training. And well it looks like snow, I’m hoping it will stay out of the way for Scout!

Woke up and checked the weather and here on the forum. Where we live just a little bit of rain at 10, other than that just windy.

Checked the weather in Chicago and saw Jamie’s post. Turned off my alarm and hopefully everything is a go.

New revised time to get on the road, goal of 11 which for us typically means we are leaving the driveway at 11:30.

Come on weather gods. Hold!

Oh yes, yes I did.

My husband just said next time if we have more notice he wants to rent the Fuji camera he has been wanting to try. There’s a place called lenserentals.com and they rent cameras and lenses. There’s a 100 megapixel Fuji he’s been wanting to try. So that will be for the next Scout event!
