Just searched and saw the FB reel! I'm heading to Denver in about 2 hours. I'll post more tooScreen captured what they had, not much
Post how it compares in person because those of us at the reveal feel the images on line just don’t do it justice and it’s so much more striking in personJust searched and saw the FB reel! I'm heading to Denver in about 2 hours. I'll post more too
Yay! Can’t wait to see pictures!!Just searched and saw the FB reel! I'm heading to Denver in about 2 hours. I'll post more too
And from what I understand both are much larger that people think.Post how it compares in person because those of us at the reveal feel the images on line just don’t do it justice and it’s so much more striking in person
I’m so glad I’m going to Ohio to see them. I can’t wait! And from what I understand both are much larger that people think.
Definitely but they are on 35’s and we were told lifted a bit but guessing maybe 2”-3” ? We were told 35’s will fit without a lift and possibly 37’s but I think the lift just makes it look better and feels more rugged/off-roadyAnd from what I understand both are much larger that people think.
I hope this is true. And from what I understand both are much larger that people think.
I remember hearing about an additional offload package that just got announced but for some reason might only be offered on the Traveler as it stands now. The Terra is missing loveDefinitely but they are on 35’s and we were told lifted a bit but guessing maybe 2”-3” ? I can’t imagine the Terra won’t get an off road package. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before we see that one with different options.I remember hearing about an additional offload package that just got announced but for some reason might only be offered on the Traveler as it stands now. Oh good. I want 35s with no lift so that’s good to know. I don’t like seeing a lot of space between the top of the tire and the bottom of the wheel well.Definitely but they are on 35’s and we were told lifted a bit but guessing maybe 2”-3” ? So glad you had the experience. So if willing-please share experience of in person vs photos. What stood out to you personallyI can’t thank Jamie enough for letting me in, yapping his ear off for half an hour, and stealing him for the interior pictures. Awesome display, and great chat. Looking forward to the coming years of development!View attachment 6883View attachment 6884View attachment 6885View attachment 6886
On another note-spill the tea!So glad you had the experience. So if willing-please share experience of in person vs photos. What stood out to you personally
Sorry for the delay! I just got home, and it's a heck of a hike for me to get into Downtown Proper from where I live.So glad you had the experience. So if willing-please share experience of in person vs photos. What stood out to you personally
If I'm reading the icons and remembering the conversation I was eavesdropping on right, currently the dials are temperature selection, and the switches are (in order, left to right):Interesting item from your pics above. Looks like three different seat options which is new to me unless someone has experienced this on their current vehicle. Looks like a heated seat, cooled seat and then a vented/moving air option. Curious if that will be run in conjunction with heat cool or a stand alone option to just move air through the seat perfs?
On another note-spill the tea!. Spied this from your pics -like where’s Waldo but so much cooler
Offroad*I remember hearing about an additional offload package that just got announced but for some reason might only be offered on the Traveler as it stands now. The Terra is missing love

I had a very similar experience, talked to Jaime and others for over an hour. My focus was on the Terra, as that is where my reservation is with. I'm post my thoughts (from a maritime and structural engineer's perspective) and pictures later.Sorry for the delay! I just got home, and it's a heck of a hike for me to get into Downtown Proper from where I live.
There's a ton. From my (Technically-oriented engineer but not an automotive engineer eye), the prototypes look solid. Like, surprisingly good, even for a "Please Give Us Money" prototype. There's some "fake" controls here and there, but a lot of engineering prototypes will expose bare metal or wiring or any number of "crimes" as soon as you open the wrong door, or look at a panel from the wrong angle. I spent most of my time looking at the Traveler (which I have pre-ordered), and they were opening/closing doors, taking candid photos (seriously, thanks again Jamie!), and just generally showing it off without a worry of "Well we can't look at this because it'll show a bad panel!"
Now that it's been at a few events, they are babying it (very gentle with doors, not letting the public get in and out all day so as to not wear the seats out, etc), but "from a distance" of a few feet away, it does look like a solid vehicle and I love some of the little touches. Things like the Center Console having a huge lower area, lots of leg room and room for things to slide under seats, et cetera. There's tons of cargo room in both, and lots of tie-down points all over the Traveler Interior (something my "SUVs" in the Toyota family are severely lacking, and I hope makes it to production).
That said, of course, I expect some of the things I love not to make production -- I pointed out that I love this little under-seat gap (pictured, Circled in Red) that allows you to reach in and under the seat from the open Driver's/Passenger's door is awesome to me, both from an "I dropped something down here" perspective and from a perspective of "Seeing the displays of added things that live under seats" (like Ham Radio heads, or Charge Controllers, or Car Stereo Amplifiers). But given the prototype is missing things like seat motors and rails, that gap might not make it to production.
Oh by the way, that green arrow? That's a pull-out work table for setting something like a laptop on. That's brilliant, and is another one of those features that I could see myself or a significant other using all the time. I'm terrible at names and I've forgotten his name, but one of the lead interior designers was there and showing off that table, and I think it's a brilliant little touch that I really, really hope makes it to production.

Basically, I understand we're two years out (ish) from release, and lots of little things like seat gaps, upholstery design, outlet locations, switch and accessory points, etc, are all subject to change, but In-Person impressions? It's super impressive, and the interior design team IMO should be proud of what they've put together so far. I'd buy it in a heartbeat, because it's an EV (or EREV) that isn't trying to be a sit-in-Computer. It's functional, it's well put together, and it looks like it's meant to get out and go places.

Honestly, I've got no notes there. Those are all the hard button controls I want for climate, and the radio controls on the wheel are where I'd want the Entertainment Center controls anyways as a driver.
- Driver Area Vent Mode (e.g. Upper Vents, Floor Vents, or Shared)
- Driver Heated Seat Level
- Driver Ventilated Seat Level
- Front Defog
- Rear Defog
- Fan speed (the big center switch)
- Recirculation
- Air Conditioning
- Passenger Ventilated Seat Level
- Passenger Heated Seat Level
- Passenger Area Vent Mode

Thanks for sharing. If the look different is new paint colors he mentioned that at some point the other week. One of the commercial clips shows the dash tray pulled out with a lap top. This was suggested early on by a member-may have been @Harris005 but not sure. Great for construction for project managers working in the field or a spouse doing work while away for a few days.Sorry for the delay!
