Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

So, Off-roading girly girl here... I think its smart to give fun color options. The market is lacking in that department. Truly original looks are needed. Honestly a really pretty deep raspberry (pink tone, but dark) would be fun. Or a coral... the fun blues are good girly options. Maybe a dark teal with some pearlescent to it. I know getting an aftermarket paint job is a pain, so an option to pick a premium paint would be great. I am on a bunch of Girl based jeep forums, and they would go for it big time. Also, bells and whistles when it comes to luxury interiors. The cool EV suv off-roading market has options, but if you look at some of the interior options from the escalade iq or from the gas jeep wagoner.... things that an EV could really thrive with. The refrigerated compartment... white interior options... screens in the backseat headrest. I can imagine these might add up, but maybe as an add on lux package? I love the sun roof. Its why I love my Jeep 4xe... but the features are lacking. As a new product, i think you have the opportunity to catch a part of the market that loves the rugged side of an off road SUV, but also love the options to have a lux interior. And people like me love a fun color option. I dont think you should be afraid to think a bit out of the box when it comes to that. A lot of these colors are great unisex (not that colors should define a gender) but some of us girls that love the rugged style also love to express the girl aspect too. :-)
Welcome to the forum. It’s a circus some days but our ring leader is the best

Yay a girl after my own heart! Welcome to the forum Missy. Fellow Wrangler owner and girly girl here. I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s like you are speaking for me!

Love my ClearLidz roof I put in my Wrangler and can’t wait for that glass roof panel.

And I’m with you on colors! I have been living with a black Wrangler for 12 years. I am ready to brighten up my life!

There’s lots of info on here. The search is a big help and @Jamie@ScoutMotors is a great follow. He posts stuff from
The manufacturer and don’t be afraid to make your wishes known. They do see what we post!

This journey has been a lot of fun and 👋 and View attachment 6129

So last night I had the pleasure of following what is probably one of my all time favorite vehicles and brands. On top of that the exterior color was stunning and while I love the concept Traveller color I think this would be my first choice with the gun metal gray roof and the terracotta/saddle brown interior. I was doing all I could to keep up so my wife could get the few pics she could 😀

Love a good Aston. My Neighbor had one before he bought his Rolls. Thing was my alarm clock at 7:30 every morning when he was getting ready to leave for work.

We are still team whatchamacallit. I call this mahogany since it’s is a brownish cherry cola. I said since day one though that a mahogany tone would look great. This seams to be the closest color in my mind and it was an AM so it just looked stunning. Didn’t catch one in the full sunlight but hey-was worth chasing down

It’s funny. You and I are very similar when it comes to colors. So I saw this car in town last year. This was like the BMW I had back in the day. Not quite as dark and a little more purple in it than the Aston but same idea. And I had tan interior in it. We were color buddies!

Grey blue or flat black with the grey Terra interior would also be pretty solid imo
A flat black traveler harvester with the red gas cans and some red calibers would be AMAZEBALLS but I’ll never buy one due to keeping it clean but I’ll drool over the people post every time. Someone did a Bronco in all black that way (Pinterest maybe where I saw it) and it looked great!

Okay I have been thinking about colors. When you say Mazda Red everyone can see that red in their head. Porsche Miami Blue is the same for me. We need a color for the new Scout that is iconic and so unique when you say Scout _______ everyone can see that color in their head. So it’s not just a red in a sea of reds or a blue in a sea of blues or a yellow in a sea of yellows.
