  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Dimensions

Yea I’d like to know this, if it’s the same as the Tacoma, I’ll cancel the reservation. I’m all in for a full size or close to it, not looking for a tiny truck again. Full size is the way to go.

    Dimensions

I'd love a wide vehicle like that. May suck to park sometimes, but man that would be massive. Fingers crossed. But I also agree that there must be a mis-print or something there. I bet its more like 81". It would have been very apparent in the reveal video if it was that wide.

    Dimensions

The Cybertruck is a mid sized truck. The long bed Tacoma is longer than it and a lot taller. And only 2 inches shorter in width. I hope these dimensions are correct because I'm sick of these tiny electric trucks. This is America for goodness sake!

Missing DOT Clearance & Identification lights

Wow, I didn't realize how wide this is, I feel like there's no way its almost 12" wider than a Raptor (excluding mirrors, and it looks like Mirrors don't stick out past the wheel wells on the Scout. I hope it is that massive, I'm all about that, but I doubt it. Even 1 ton pick ups only go to...

    Integrated Center Console on Terra

    I missed that, deleting this.

List Your 10 Favorite Things About the New Scouts

    1) Exterior- looks like a modern Scout, its perfect 2) Interior - (Traveler) - love the interior, hope the Terra has the integrated center console option) 3) Gas Extender - this is why the Cybertruck doesn't work for me. My hunting trips are 250 miles with no chargers on the route, not including...

    Integrated Center Console on Terra

I haven't seen that posted, I hope so. Thats a deal breaker for me on the Terra. I'd go Traveler just for that. I plan on having my Tacoma anyway because that'll be my daughters car in 4 years.

    Integrated Center Console on Terra

I get the appeal of the 6 seater, but I’d much rather have the center console the Traveler has in the Terra. Way nicer and most people don’t have a need for 6 seats. Having the option for either or is the way to go. Edit: just noticed they said they're offering both. AWESOME

    What did you reserve?

Terra w/ extender but may swap when the time comes depending on my current vehicles in my driveway My biggest issue on not getting the CT is that if I go hunting, I’m pushing it realllly close to get to the nearest charger. And the interior was boring, the exterior of the CT is obnoxious but...

    Front Bench Seat

I’d say definitely have the option for the integrated center console. I never buy trucks without it, no need for 6 seats.
