  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I didn’t get to watch it live but I did watch the full race without spoilers. Very interesting race. Track has lots of turns so it was very different from Melbourne. Loved seeing the wheel to wheel battle between Lewis and Charles. Also it was great seeing Kimi win (although I’m not a Mercedes fan).

I wonder when they will announce more spots to showcase it

I caved and reserved one again. Still keeping the Scout. I want the Scout so much more lol I’m just dying to see it in person.

New Scout Video: Forging the Future - The Sound Of Scout

I loved watching this video. It takes a lot to get the right sound for multiple things. They probably had to go back to the drawing board so many times. Love the idea of using the old turn indicator sound. The AVIS system is going to be very interesting in person.

Reevaluating everything, I think pricing is very good and competitive. I love the way the R2 looks in Green. Definitely want to test drive one. Still keeping my Scout reservation though.

    R2 Launch Watch

That’s a great explanation. I can see why many will go for the launch edition. The only thing I dislike was the whole marketing up until 2 weeks ago saying $45k starting price. It seemed a bit misleading especially now that they are coming in with a Starting price of $60k. I know that yes it...

So the real question is the people who reserved one are they allowed to order the $45k base version now or are they locked into the Launch edition?

What a great race! Those cars are moving insanely quick. Happy to see that Audi placed in the top 10. Nearly got 8.

Both Aston’s out. Seems like it was true roughly around 37 laps.

Hulks communication system was having issues and they couldn’t resolve it leading to him not racing.

I pay with Apple TV 12.99 which is really good compared to Netflix and others. I can also watch Sky Sports

Poor Oscar, I wanted to see him race today as well. Sucks that it happened so quickly.

Agreed! It’s nice to see new faces coming into the sport and seeing them grow. I can definitely see this season being the most interesting in a long time with all the changes.
