  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout Motors announces in-vehicle satellite connectivity and highlights Scout Community UX interface at CES 2025

Awesome! Thanks Jamie! Now I have to stop pouting cause I can't go to CES and see them in person...

    Spare tire discussion

Would suck to lose bed space, but the smallest tire size I'd be going for is 35 and eyeing 37 replacements and I don't see that fitting anywhere BUT in the bed.

    Size comparison

This is awesome! Thanks for doing this.

    Tailgate paint option

If it's less expensive to manufacture and they are able to stick with the original price point...I'm all for the rugged plastic in the back. Personally I like it, but I am from the more off-road oriented crowd. But...I also like a beautifully painted panel to polish and admire some deep metal...

Blind Spot Turn Signal Camera Displayed in Instrument Cluster

I absolutely hope they have turn signal cameras. I loved this in my Tesla and wish my Raptor had it.

    October 2024 Production Center Update

I wish I knew. I was just told it was "unavailable" and I would need to drive 2.5-3 hours one way to bring my Tesla in. They gave no reason.

Harvester - Request to allow it to charge battery while parked & a 30-40amp/240v outlet

Yes, everyone should know this...and yet there are still people who die or get sick . A CO2 detector would be a neat feature but I also see cost going up and another potential item that would have issues

    240V Outlet on Traveller

Upvoted. It doesn't make any sense that it would only be on the Terra, this needs to be a feature on the Traveler as well.

Harvester - Request to allow it to charge battery while parked & a 30-40amp/240v outlet

There's so much unknown surrounding the Harvester option and when and how it will charge the battery. I could definitely see it recharging while parked as a good feature but feel like there could also be lawsuits and deaths and who knows what from people leaving it to run in their garage while...

    October 2024 Production Center Update

Regarding service centers and mobile techs....I REALLY hope they pull this off better than my Tesla experience. I had to drive 2.5-3 hours one way to have my Tesla "serviced" when some weird noises popped up. They refused mobile service. That experience was part of my hesitation with buying a...

    leasing

I could see leasing one just for any battery or EV tech that could improve over the course of a lease term.

    Locking Differentials Question

Based off the reveal and the overhead toggle I was under the assumption it would be selectable. Often times I don't even use my lockers unless absolutely necessary so I would hope it will remain selectable.
