  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

One feature that made you pull the the trigger on a reservation….

Same. I've been contemplating jumping into the EV world for awhile, but none have quite enticed me enough. The screen heavy approach we'd seen in the last decade was a total turn off for me. I'm also a big fan of the retro boxy styling, I'd considered a new Land Cruiser before deciding I didn't...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

I love the idea of a virtual "packing" tool on the website pre-release. One thing that really annoys me about my Rav4 currently is I can't fit two bags of golf clubs in it without putting the backseats down. I'm hoping the Scout being bigger means I don't have to do that and can fit in either...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

Decent cupholders. I always have a water bottle with me, and also frequently have an additional beverage (coffee, iced tea, etc...) I like to be well hydrated, haha! I love driving my husband's Audi, but it has the most god-awful cup holders and location. You can't put a travel coffee mug in...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

"Hear hear" to everything Cyure and Scoutsie said. It's honestly an example of exactly why ONE thread was created for women to talk to other women about cars, in what is always a male dominated space. And we can't even get away with avoiding "soccer mom" or "mall crawler" jokes. The reality is...

    Colorado Event

All good, no offense taken! It was just tough to understand what was allowed/how to ask questions given that all staff was tied up and busy and I didn't want to get yelled at...lol

    Colorado Event

Thanks! My background is in Urban Planning and I currently work in real estate development and construction, so I could go on and on about it if needed...haha!

BTW - I used the provided link to send a letter to my reps. I also added to the template, speaking about consumer choice but also how mandating dealerships is a terrible legislation of Land Use resources. We all know affordable/attainable housing is a hot topic in Colorado, especially at the...

Here's some additional photo angles that @ColoradoMTBer didn't cover (enjoy the garbage can perspective, lol)

    Colorado Event

I'm actually a little concerned about the rear load height for dogs, it was basically at my bellybutton! Might need to start thinking about retractable stairs or something...

    Colorado Event

Thanks Jamie, I figured that was the case! It was still great to see it in person, I know that opportunity has been limited so I feel fortunate!

    Colorado Event

I stopped by the event when I was doing some running around for work. The vehicle looks great in person, the orange color really pops. Man is it big/tall. I'm 5'7" and the front hood hits at the top of my chest. Interior looks beautiful. I was however a bit disappointed in the organization of...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

The last car I chose myself was a Grand Cherokee, but my husband and I went down to one car during COVID/WFH days to save some money and got rid of the Jeep before it started having electrical issues (IYKYK). And we had just gotten the Rav for him. Then when we both were back to the office and...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

👋 Hi from Colorado! I don't post much, but lurk a lot. Can't believe how long we still have to wait before getting our hands on our new vehicles...Especially since I'm starting to get that "new car itch". I didn't really get to pick the car I have now (Rav4 hybrid), and while I like it, I'm...

What 16 Metro's Will Scout Launch?

Hoping for Denver...given Rivian's presence and seeming success here, I think it's a good chance.

What are you driving until release?

I am driving a RAV4 hybrid. I’d intended to get a new Land Cruiser this year, and even had one of the early allocations, but I ended up passing on it. It wasn’t the smartest time financially for us, and I was disappointed in the reports on the MPGs given the hybrid engine. I was hoping for...
