  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

As someone who has spent the last 10 years developing an appreciation for home theater and hifi, this crap absolutely makes my teeth hurt (since my hearing is already shot).

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

The design team truly outdid themselves with these finishes and colors. As much as I've grown to love this version of the Traveler's concept colors, I am STOKED to see what it will look like later in the year! I'm a sucker for navy blues.....

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

Would be super nifty if they included such a hook, but if not, there are a ton of other options for you. 3M makes some metallic, heavy duty, damage-free hooks that would likely stick in place under the console. By the way I cannot stress ENOUGH how amazing these interior colors are. Gooey...

How would you build your Scout?

As much as I like the burly attitude given by brush guards, I think it would spoil the beautiful mask Scout incorporated into the front of the vehicles. +1 for no offroading

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

There are so many great features on this car, but one that really hits me as "damn, that's cool" is how the tailight slides beneath the corner of the body panel. It's such a seemingly small detail but visually makes a huge impact. Also great for blinker visibility for drivers in your blindspot.

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

I don't think I've ever salivated over an interior leather color before.

What will you typical cargo look like in your Scout?

Oh yes, even better if it can fit a 12-can capacity mini fridge for Dr. Pepper.

What will you typical cargo look like in your Scout?

You forgot the fossilized madeleine that fell out of a three-pack from Starbucks two Summers ago.

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

Pretty sure Jaime said in another thread that the prototypes were headed for an interior/exterior facelift later in the year. So perhaps we'll see more options sooner than later.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

This isn't something I think about until I see it out in the wild...and I am not a fan either. I think the branding they've incorporated into the Harvester version of the EV (graphics on the cap) is beautifully subtle, and I hope they don't deviate from that.

    Audio System Brand Poll 2.0

My "Beautiful, Bombastic & Brutally Epic" playlist on Spotify will hopefully take care of that, then. :D

    Audio System Brand Poll 2.0

Yikes, thank you for that anecdote. I was in a friend's '24 Bronco a few months back and BEARD OF ZEUS was that thing noisy on the highway. Definitely not an experience I'm looking to recreate for myself in the new Traveller.

    Audio System Brand Poll 2.0

As someone who has driven a CX5 for the last 7 years, I'd like a bit of an elaboration on this. Are there other factors at play other than the tires' larger surface area making contact with the pavement? Hopefully the cabin is well insulated 😬

    Audio System Brand Poll 2.0

I'm shocked JBL didn't make the cut in either poll, if only because they're pretty mainstream everywhere. Maybe because JBL is typically an aftermarket upgrade in vehicles? My CX5 has premium factory Bose system (I get it - "No highs, no lows..." "Buy Other Sound Equipment" and you won't find...
