We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    Look, I’m impartial to the steering wheel shape. BUT… PLEASE LEAVE THE START BUTTON ON THE STEERING WHEEL!!! It’s one of the little things that I loved about the steering wheel design.

    This Right Here… BMW doing that with heated seats is a joke. However, hearing the Scout CEO say “we aren’t their product” though related to capturing user data *cough* Google *cough*. I hope the pay wall and micro transactions aren’t part of the plans.

    tonneau cover standard?

    I don’t know I need one standard, but would prefer a couple OE options that can be added. On one hand, part of me thinks I would use the Frunk more for those items I need weather protected.

    Personally, I don’t know how offten I open the sunroof in my Jeep. I wanted the panoramic sunroof but was disappointed it only opened halfway. I do however find some sort of cover necessary to maintain comfort, privacy, and reduce the need for sunscreen on those long drives when I lose my hair!

    How about Phone as a Key with integration in smart watches. I like your idea but would rather not have to wear something else on my wrist. You can unlock house doors with your watch, why not the Scout? Also, this is coming from someone who never takes their keys out of the car 🤷‍♂️

    I’m right by Penn State and actually picked up a E92 earlier this summer from Bethlehem. Not a convertible but drove her all the way home with the windows down and music up.

    How much personalization/modification ability do you want to see in the new Scout?

    I’m hoping for dual color options like found on the latest Jeep GC and Toyota Land Crusier. Dark or blacked out badging and trim options. On the interior side, color and material options are a must.
