  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Rearview Camera Monitor

Nope. I recently tried one and I didn’t like it. When you adjust the mirror, the perspective doesn’t change and I couldn’t get used to that. I hope that they offer a conventional mirror as standard and the camera mirror as an option (maybe part of a technology package)

What kind of tech do you expect enabled in the car or interface?

I still have all my cassettes and cd’s as a hard copy backup. I find there are gaps in available music depending on the popularity. I was actually surprised when I discovered my wife’s 2019 Nissan Qashqai (Rogue Sport) had a cd player

the “original” compact disc… Too retro??

Harvester generator gas and not diesel

Plus, you will probably lose even more payload capacity due to the extra weight of the diesel engine.

    Spare tire discussion

I think it would be an either/or situation if they were to offer it. If it could be configured for a 35” spare then it would become the location for the jack as well and possibly enough space for recovery equipment

    Spare tire discussion

I wonder if it’s possible to configure the frunk to accommodate a 35” spare instead of mounting it in the bed? If you choose the 33’s it goes under the bed but if you want 35’s you could choose between bed mount or frunk mount, with the understanding that you would loose some of the storage...

    Heated cup holder

    Well, if it’s a non-alcoholic helmet… But where’s the fun in that??

    Heated cup holder

Why does “Up in smoke “ suddenly come to mind…??

    Traveler without the Spare

I would think a good option would be keep the full size spare as standard with the option to delete it (and deduct the cost)

    Keep the weight down please

I’m sure someone will build one for SEMA 2028

    Keep the weight down please

How about showing Kevlar some love…

    Right-hand side charging access

I’m for having the charging port on the right side, only because the fuel door on my Terrain is on the right and I don’t want to have to retrain my brain…? And I guess the other arguments make sense too?

    Automatic Retractable Electric Running Boards

My concern is not only the cost but keeping them working well in the snow/salt belt.

    DROPDOWN REAR WINDOW

I think RedGreen has an instructional video on YouTube for that…
