  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Stunning colors & stripes on Terra / Traveler - previews ?

This one stands out! Didn't know there was an original bicentennial version until this was posted. Scout designers please bring back this colorway back for the Traveler

    October 2024 Production Center Update

Yea but 20-30 is just to start, not the final number at all. I think I read ~ 60 for second year and then over 100 by early 2030's. So sounds like build out is bigger than Rivian's? Not sure how many they have now.

Stunning colors & stripes on Terra / Traveler - previews ?

I'm sure we'll get a basic silver. It's the 4th most popular color after white, black, gray. I just hope beyond these basic must-offer colors, we get some fun colorful options.

Payload and towing with harvester range extender on a Traveler

Yes Integrated Brake Controller please! Tired of dealing with aftermarket ones. Tekonsha P3 is pretty good but nothing beats factory solution.

Stunning colors & stripes on Terra / Traveler - previews ?

For me, with the new Scouts being such big vehicles, big bold colored rallye stripes (black / white for ex.) would be too in your face. The idea of ghost version is a great idea though and would be a subtle way to have stripes but not be so overhwhleming.

Option to delete the glass / cabana roof

In 3 years, electrochromic glass roofs will be a common sight on cars. They're already on several VW vehicles actually. So I'd prefer that over a traditional shade for the glass roof option.

Stunning colors & stripes on Terra / Traveler - previews ?

To Scout designers: please give us this nice of color options to pick from. And stripes just like these also. https://www.scoutevforum.com/forum/threads/scout-traveler-colors-heritage-rallye-stripes-roof-colors-previews.11064/...

    Removable Doors

Too late for the Terra and Traveler to get removable doors but I hope a future model will have both removable doors and roof. Jeep sales are struggling bad and that segment is ripe for Scout to convert some owners.

1,000+ reservations take rate stats: Harvester vs. Full-EV and Traveler vs. Terra

At the estimated prices, this is a want vehicle for most I bet.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Makes sense since its got a shorter roof area and probably not enough room to fit the powered / moving parts.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I must have a key too. It actually doesn't feel like I own the vehicle if I don't have an actual key fob for it. Is that weird?

    What did you reserve?

Traveler Harvester the morning after reveal. Almost placed reservation on Terra too but decided its too big for garage.
