  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Audio system

Preferably also a great upgrade system. I’ll shell out $5-7K for an audio upgrade. That’s how important it is to my car-driving experience.

    Travelall 3 Row

Do a rear-facing 4th row as an option for a Travelall with the full Terra length. I like where your head’s at.

    Travelall 3 Row

I’ve seen so many F-250’s and extended bed trucks in my neighborhood (in central Houston mind you). A standard truck length for a Scout Travelall would just help me blend in. ?

    Travelall 3 Row

I think using the Terra dimensions for this would make sense. Eliminate the rear tire to avoid making the car too long. It could be targeted at “urban adventures.”

    Audio system

Klipsch did the car audio system for the new Infinity QX80: https://www.klipsch.com/news/all-new-2025-infiniti-qx80-to-feature-premium-klipsch-reference-premiere-audio-system-powered-by-panasonic I’m curious as to how it sounds.

    Optional Third Row

Thinking about a potential Travelall design with three rows, I’d think the full size spare on the back gate would not be necessary to save a bit on overall length. Options could be more urbane on the Travelall—akin to the Sahara version of the Jeep Wrangler or Yukon Denali. The kind of car the...

    Audio system

@Chaparral @Logan - Having looked at Klipsch’s current aesthetic, I’m on board with it now. Hopefully, the system will pack some OOMPH ?

    Audio system

British companies tie in pretty well to the retro feel of the brand, however. Think the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd. “Big sound. Built to tour America.”

    Audio system

I endorse Bowers and Wilkins as a top-end option. I very much enjoy the system they have in my current XC90 (there are multiple types of sound settings including one that simulates the experience of sitting in the Gothenburg concert hall). B&W does marine and outdoor speakers and might be able...

    Optional Third Row

I will add my endorsement to an extended length Travelall model with a 3rd row. I love the design aesthetics for the Scout. I mainly use it for city life—in Houston, that means navigating street flooding from periodic downpours. The ability to ford up to 3 feet of water is very appealing.

    Third-Row Model

I’m thinking a total car length similar to that of the Land Rover Defender 130 at about 210” for the long wheelbase. I think there would be a market for two Scout SUV’s with two wheelbase lengths. I agree a “pop-up third row” would likely be the only option based on the current renders.

    Third-Row Model

I’d like to see a long-wheelbase SUV model with three rows available in addition to a two-row off-road beast. I’m hoping for fording capability in the cars to be able to handle flood waters in my area (Houston).
