  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Travelall 3 Row

I thin it should be possible aftermarket, as the swing out tire carrier can be detached from the Traveler too.

    Travelall 3 Row

On a different note I have actually worked with Fisker for a bit as my company collaborated with him. His wife is a piece of work and micromanaged everything. Fisker was rarely present on the other hand.

    Travelall 3 Row

Not really. In the Terra the spare tire is underbody and it is 229 inches long - pretty much right in size with the Jeep Grand Wagoneer or the Chevy Suburban

    Travelall 3 Row

You can use the Terra chassis too.

    Travelall 3 Row

Same here. With kids and parents visiting the three row looks way more tempting.

Scout Traveler Debuts in New Pacific Mist Color

Are the lights yellow? Would love it if they were so

Speculation - will Scout use the new EV battery announced by VW?

That is highly possible - but on the flip side because the reservations and pent up demand is so much more for the Harvester there won't be big delays I think.

Motors, Control Arms and Ground Clearance

I was recently seeing some of the control arms on the new Chevrolet Suburbans. They hang extremely low

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

The car market has taught me the thing - stated vs revealed preferences. When asked, consumers will demand one thing, but when actually spending money they will get something else. I think this is why us enthusiasts need to be more gentle on car brands - we may be all clamoring for something...

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

I have a question. Are the headlights and the LEDs warm yellow rather than white? If that is so, I will praise all the Lords for this - yellow lights are so, so much better. They cause far less glare for opposing drivers and eye strain at the same number of lumens.

Where’s everyone camping or overlanding for the 4th?

Took a Jeep Grand Wagoneer L with friends to the Pacific Northwest. Whale watched at Port Angeles, WA and hiked to Frozen Lake on Mount Rainier on the 4th.

    E Axle Brand Poll

    Same.

    Travelall 3 Row

    A man can only dream.

    Travelall 3 Row

Why does the profile remind me of a Volkswagen Atlas?

    Travelall 3 Row

I think Scott Keogh strongly hinted at one of his interviews that the 3 row SUV on a Terra wheelbase is the next model.
