We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    Solar Panel Roof

    Solar Panel roof would be awesome and make it a great feature to possibly include a few extra miles or charge the battery for accessories. The issue is that'd make it super complicated and expensive to add. I've sold solar panels and if they aren't perfect, they don't operate to their maximum...

    Love bench seat, but it needs to fold down.

    I want it to either fold down or have the option of not having the bench seat. I don't feel like I would use/benefit from the bench seat enough for it to be attractive to me. As well I love have wireless charging in the middle console and cup holders. I didn't see that in the Terra interior pics.

    Ideas for Scout Engineers

    I love all the features you added. Being in Austin, TX I would love the option to have the car start cooling off the cabin during the summer. I think another option would have it possible to choose 37 inch tires. Have it for the Terra where it has a built in bed cover that can retract manually...

    See Traveler colors

    I'd love to see the Traveler in the blue/gray. As well, do you think we'd have the option whether we have the tire in the back or not? or have it possible to take the whole tire off? Wife likes the look but isn't sure about the tire in the back. I'm a fan but this would be her daily driver.

    Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

    I'm a huge fan of this. I know Porsche, Chevy Corvette, and Volvo have it where you get to travel and tour the factory and ride your car around the city is was produced. This would be an awesome feature and something I think would help Scout stand out as a manufacture.

    The Blue/Gray I would hope should look something similar to the Toyota Tundra Lunar Rock color. It's such a beautiful blue that you don't get to see too often.
