  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Option for a Rugged/Waterproof Interior Trim

I'm not looking for a vintage car. I want a new car with new technology and performance.

South Carolina Scouts! Your voice is heard: Direct sales bill gets a hearing on Wednesday!

Is it already over? It says technical difficulties.

I added a suggestion to vote on, as Jamie requested. Vote, vote, vote!

    240V Outlet on Traveller

Jaime @ Scout asked me to make this suggestion because at the moment it is only intended for the Tera...

Blind Spot Turn Signal Camera Displayed in Instrument Cluster

I love this feature. The Honda CR-V used to have this and then they removed it. It's a great feature.

I have added this to the suggestion forum!

    240V Outlet on Traveller

As it stands, only the Tera has the 240V outlet. There is no reason for this and really needs to change. I only want the traveller but I need a 240V outlet. I think most people watching the presentation just assumed this would be on both.

Wait the traveler doesn't have a 240V outlet!? What??

    Lithium Battery Firewall/extinguisher?

Volvo had a solid steel shell that surrounded the battery. Lots of weight and probably affects range but they're focused on safety. I'm sure this will have at least some kind of protection for off-roading.

Option for a Rugged/Waterproof Interior Trim

    1. I'm thinking more than just durable fabric. It would be cool if they went super over the top and made it a premium option. I'm talking kevlar dash or glove compartment and X-Pac sailcloth for any fabric areas. Black X-Pac looks really technical and sleek. 2. Not sure what you mean. Adventure...

Option for a Rugged/Waterproof Interior Trim

This is why I made the suggestion. I'm not saying it needs to be submersible but an all black waterproof option would be great. Some rubber/plastic trim to cover all the crevices and allow you to spray out the interior would be really cool. The second you touch that light fabric trim with some...

Option for a Rugged/Waterproof Interior Trim

I explained it more above. It's usually like a hotel room card key but it can be any waterproof key that you can bring in the ocean and other places without destroying your fob.

    Working class interior

I understand that it costs more, that's why almost no company offers it. It's easier to just put in some fake leather seats and call it "luxury". Your land rover seats wouldn't hold up against sand and salt water. But if they offered it as a "pro" trim and made some good commercials showing the...

    Working class interior

I entered this as a suggestion here: https://scoutmotors.community.forum/threads/option-for-a-rugged-waterproof-interior-trim.1142/#post-12301 Go hit the upvote button at the top so we can show support for a rugged interior option.

Option for a Rugged/Waterproof Interior Trim

If you like this idea make sure you hit the upvote (it's next to the big zero at the top of my post). Jaime from Scout Motors just changed the suggestion forum settings to allow votes because I asked if there was a way for us to vote on suggested features. By "adventure key" I just meant a...
