  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout concepts on Jay Leno’s Garage

Hard to follow all the points in the video but did he imply that harvester is 'gas and go'?

    Advice from a Bronco owner

I also was in the initial Bronco order process. Overall Ford did not do a good job. The top issues were huge among things like Broncos sitting for months on 'dirt mountain'. One concern about Scout is if the production interiors will be like the prototypes? The Broncos interiors were nothing...

    Range and Competitiveness

Logan - very helpful! I am still getting my head around all this.... From what I have seen the Ram does have a limited range (but very high at almost 700 miles) so it is not completely unlimited "gas and go". Are you thinking because the Scout has lower tow max that it can possibly be "gas and go"?

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

Just want to say this is a great forum to get up to speed. What about weight of the full EV vs harvester model?

Interesting article about the engineering underneath the new Scouts

Scout shows off the UX at CES!

I like the UX 2 suggestions: Have the background switch between light and dark depending on ambient light. Black is hard to read in bright sunlight. Any mention of this? Larger buttons/icons on the screen when you tap a physical button and stuff pops up on the screen. It looks too small for...

    Harvester Talk: Q&A

My gut says if they know today that it will be 'gas and go' then they would be saying this.....it is a huge selling point for EV only reluctant buyers. I am betting they are trying to engineer to this outcome but they don't know if it is possible yet.

    Harvester Talk: Q&A

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I am in the gas and go camp. Less interested in the alternative but of course need to know final specs to see if it works for me.

    Harvester Talk: Q&A

If I am going on a long cross country trip with Harvester can the generator keep the battery charged at a certain level (e.g. 50%) where you only need to stop to fill up gas like an ICE car? This might be a dumb questions but just getting up to speed here and wonder if there are any limitations...
