  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout concepts on Jay Leno’s Garage

I was hoping the tow rating would be better with the Harvester but in reality I won't be towing over 4k like in my current Maverick...

    Blythewood Community Event

I saw that video today. I was just surprised they let Jay drive it! Scott did mention he was driving a crazy expensive prototype. Seems like most protypes do not run so to see it in motion was impressive even though this is a very rough form hearing the whining electric motor and clunks over...

    Keep the weight down please

Yeah, that is the ultimate way to reduce weight but too spendy for the price point they are trying to hit...

    Keep the weight down please

It would be nice to see the new Scouts incorporate aluminum panels to help keep the weight down as we know weight kills range. My cheap Ford Maverick has a aluminum hood and the F-150 has a aluminum bed. It would help with customers in the rust belt as well! Keep it trim but strong is what I'm...

Offer it with a gas motor

With the new Scout's only being electric I was hesitant on embracing change. This will be my 1st electric/hybrid vehicle. I think the option of the gas range extender will help with people on the fence converting to all electric. I reserved both the suv and truck with the range extender. Will I...

Will Scout ever build a competitor of the Wrangler and Bronco?

The future plans show a short wheelbase half covered (on a billboard off to the side of the reveal) so we will probably see a 2028 or later two door with a removable top...

New Scout To Be Revealed On October 24, 2024

If you look at where the top of the front fender is in relation to this guys shoulder this Scout stands tall or on a small ramp?

    TFLEV Discussing Upcoming Scout Reveal

I hope the TFLEV guys are wrong on pricing. I know they want this Scout to be affordable but what is that price going to be? I just hope I can afford it because I know I will want one! Excited for the reveal!

New Scout To Be Revealed On October 24, 2024

Looking forward to this reveal. It just so happens to be the day after our anniversary! I told my wife I am going to buy the new SUV sight unseen and order as soon as they allow us members to do so. This is for my dad who brought a brand new 73 Scout II home. Oh the memories we made in that rig...

Top Five Accessories For The New Scout

I would hope the top is removable and have built in floor anchors for securing loads. I would like a sunroof (could be removable glass?) Have a smart tow system (load indicator). Washable interior/floors

    Decals

You already have the "E" on the end of Rallye. Scout Motors should definitely keep the RallyE name alive!
