From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. haha, that's ChatGPT replacing the plate with one from California. Actually checking right now and TRAVLR is taken already so that's a no go, but I wouldn't do a personalized plate anyway. What I would do is order the black legacy plate which is remake of the format that existed from 1963-1969. I have OG black plates on both my 60's classics, would be fun to have a black plate on my modern classic.

Was there. Talked at length with Jamie. Lots of things I can share and a few things told to me as “Easter eggs” that I can not share but will eventually be announced. Jamie let me over the glass along with Agent K for lots of close ups and an hour later Chris (CP1) kindly allowed me to sit in the cockpit (my wife stood there with Jamie saying I was like a 4 year old on Xmas morning). I’m sure I was beaming ear to ear. Took as many photos as I could. Got exterior in light, shade and bright light for color variations

Never had an issue with leather in my ford(s). They will show some wear (like a good belt or glove) after a few years but the only real issue I’ve ever had is I caught the front driver seat with the end of my ‘pew-pew’ choke tube bird hunting one day which is rough/sharp and it scalped a little section. I love the heated and cooled seats my truck has (south Texas cooled seats are on 11 months of the year) but the little vent holes do get some junk in them. A good vacuum session will clean them out though.
Is anyone else getting Airstream Trade Wind vibes with these color combination/names? Just me??
Not sure the towing specs would work (7500lbs gvwr trailer with a 750-800lbs tongue weight) puts it just outside the specs for the Traveler but would be great to see a collaboration. Airstream has a REI edition of their Basecamp short camper, why not a classic American brand like Scout?

Now I’m wondering how this color would look with a graphic. Rallye, Spear, Feather, something else?
I mentioned that while there because a smoked lighter tone on tone graphic, IMHO should look killer on this color. I will say that in person I’m not sure bronze wheels would work. I think the blue has so much silver it would cause bronze wheels to clash

I would put white Rallye stripes with this set up. I wonder if copper wheels would be better
I asked that same question and @J Alynn posted that it has silver undertones and he didn’t think bronze or copper wheels would look right.
. I’m hoping at some point we get to see a bronze/copper wheel with a color and maybe even a chrome.
